PANews 4月29日消息，据CBC报道，加拿大联邦政府计划禁止加密货币ATM，以阻止诈骗分子利用这些机器欺诈加拿大人。自由党政府的春季经济更新指出，加密货币ATM是“诈骗分子欺诈受害者和犯罪分子放置现金犯罪所得的主要手段”。CBC去年的一项调查发现，这些机器已成为诈骗分子从加拿大受害者手中获取资金的主要工具，加拿大金融交易和报告分析中心2023年2月的分析也得出了相同结论。目前加拿大拥有全球人均最多的加密货币ATM（近4000台），但尚无针对该行业的特定法规。
